In order for our fitter to be able to do their job efficiently and template your kitchen accurately the following requirements are essential.
All units must be in place — they must be fixed, altered or removed between the templating and fitting of your granite worktops. All units must be perfectly level.
Sink(s), hobs, and any other appliances that sit in the granite must be available to take accurate measurements. If the sink is under mount the unit below must have a solid top sunk down 2mm from top of the unit and to allow a 5mm tolerance for the sink cut-out, the sink must be in place but not fitted.
Any taps that are going to be fitted through the granite worktop must be available in order for holes to be accurate.
Any boxing in of pipework should be done either before templating or after fitting. Any plastering of walls should be done either before templating or after fitting.
There must be sufficient support if there are no units batons are required. Our templater will discuss and advise you on this matter if required but it will not be possible to fit your worktops unless our templater is satisfied that you have sufficient support.
